Sta. Elena School of Novaliches Now a PEAC-Certified School, Supporting Affordable Quality Education

MANILA, Philippines – Sta. Elena School of Novaliches proudly joins the roster of PEAC-certified institutions after receiving formal recognition during the GASTPE Regional Orientation Conference held on August 28, 2025, at the St. Paul University Manila Auditorium in Pedro Gil.

The milestone recognition highlights the school’s commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality education while upholding the rigorous standards set by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC).

A Mark of Quality and Commitment

The PEAC certification acknowledges Sta. Elena School of Novaliches’ compliance with strict academic and administrative benchmarks, enabling it to actively participate in the government’s flagship subsidy programs for private education. These include:

  • Educational Service Contracting (ESC): Provides subsidies to qualified junior high school students in partner private schools.

  • Teachers’ Salary Subsidy (TSS): Extends salary support to educators in participating institutions.

  • Senior High School (SHS) Voucher Program: Helps ease tuition costs for students pursuing senior high in private schools.

Through these programs, Sta. Elena School can now expand its reach, reduce financial burdens on families, and open more doors of opportunity for students in Novaliches and beyond.

A Gathering of Education Leaders

The recognition ceremony was originally set for July 24 but was moved to August due to inclement weather and flooding in Metro Manila. Despite the delay, the event drew representatives from private educational institutions across the region and featured influential figures in Philippine education, including DepEd Secretary and PEAC Chair Hon. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” M. Angara.

Topics such as data privacy, information security, and the digital processing of billing documents were also discussed, ensuring that certified schools are fully equipped to implement programs with efficiency and integrity.

Impact on the Community

For Sta. Elena School of Novaliches, this certification isn’t just a seal of approval—it’s a promise to the community. Parents can look forward to more affordable options for quality private education, while teachers benefit from additional support to sustain excellence in instruction.

The school’s new status as a PEAC-certified institution reinforces its role as a reliable partner of the government in shaping the future of Filipino learners. It also reflects the school’s drive for continuous growth, aligning itself with the nation’s educational goals while strengthening its roots in the Novaliches community.
